As part of International Trade Centre’s (ITC) support to the Saint Lucia Trade Export Promotion Agency’s (TEPA) Trade Information System (TIS), a partnership has been forged with the Paris Chamber of Commerce to provide additional capacity building to TEPA’s staff.
This initiative is in keeping with the ITC’s commitment to the project “Upgrading trade information services for exporters in Saint Lucia”.
Benoit Maille and Denis Deschamps of ARIST Paris Ile-de-France (IdF) will conduct training sessions at TEPA’s office from Tuesday March 11 to Friday March 14, 2014. These sessions will introduce and instruct TEPA staff on the use of Monitoring Cells which will allow for in-depth look at product information and behavior in specific markets. Martin Lopez from ITC will also be on hand as the lead coordinator of the TEPA’s TIS development.
ARIST Paris Ile-de-France (IdF) is the Paris IdF agency for the development of innovation and competitive intelligence in SME’s. It supports companies that innovate by introducing new products or new or improved processes.
The TEPA anticipates that the training and coaching sessions will equip staff with the knowledge and skills to provide efficient and current information to stakeholders.
