The Australian world record holder who rowed his boat solo across the Atlantic made his way through St. Lucia recently.
Andrew Abrahams is seen here on St. Lucia coast pictured above. In February, he completed 57 days of rowing, which started in La Gomera in the Canary Islands and concluded in Antigua.
This was part of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. The 5,000-kilometre race was Abrahams’ way of trying to raise money for disadvantaged children and their families in his hometown of Queensland, Australia.
The 42-year-old former lifesaver managed to raise almost 6,000 Australian dollars.
